Should 26 January remain as Australia Day?

Source: AAP
Australia Day is marked on 26 January every year with a national public holiday. It’s a day “for all Australians, no matter where our personal stories began, [to] reflect on being Australian, celebrate contemporary Australia and recognise our history,” according to the National Australia Day Council. But for some Indigenous people - and an increasing number of non-Indigenous people who stand in support of them - it’s a day of mourning. Some say it’s “Invasion Day”. Do you agree with this view? It is a compilation of comments from the listeners who participated in Talkback program on 26 Jan, 2018. Guest: Lawrence Annadurai, Adelaide.
