In recent years, the Fair Work Ombudsman has been trying to help migrant workers recoup millions of dollars in unpaid wages. In March 2013, the federal government passed forced-labour laws that, so far, remain largely untested. Tonight, SBS Insight speaks to several exploited workers who had to deal with harsh conditions and abusive employers. Maheswaran Prabaharan reports in Tamil, feature prepared for SBS Insight.
