Surgeon sticks with comments on sexual abuse from colleagues

A senior surgeon is not backing down from her advice to female doctors to stay silent on what she calls rampant sexual abuse by their colleagues.Sydney vascular surgeon Dr Gabrielle McMullin originally made the comment in a radio interview after helping launch a book on gender equality.The advice has caused some in the medical fraternity to hit back, a counterattack she calls a distraction from the real issue.
