Tampon tax out, other GST measures targeted

Women's sanitary products will be cheaper from next year with state governments agreeing to scrap the Goods and Services Tax on them, sometimes referred to as the tampon tax. But the states also banded together to toughen their opposition to the federal government's plan to change how the G-S-T is distributed.
