The consecration of the Thanjavur Big Temple took place in a grand manner today (5 Feb) with mantras recited in both Tamil and Sanskrit. Mr S.K.Sridhar, secretary of Mamannar Rajarajacholan History and Research Centre, spoke to RaySel on the architectural significance of Thanjavur’s Big Temple.
