Professor Nishan Canagarajah is joining University of Leicester as the new vice-chancellor, after making substantial change at the University of Bristol where he has been serving as research and enterprise pro-vice chancellor. He will take up the post in November. Professor Nishan Canagarajah talks to Kulasegaram Sanchayan about his childhood, his current role in Bristol and what he expects to achieve in his new role.
