Poet Yu Hsi is a world renowned Chinese (Mandarin) poet from Taiwan. He has translated Thirukkural, poems by Bharathiyar and Bharathithasan, and Aathichudi. Yu Hsi is the only foreigner so far to receive "Thiruvalluvar Award" from Tamil Nadu. This interview in Mandarin was done with the help of Zhou Li, Executive producer, SBS Mandarin, and William Shi helped with the translation. Arul Velu Balaji of Taiwan Tamil Sangam had known Poet Yu Hsi for a few years and was instrumental in organising this interview. Produced by Kulasegaram Sanchayan.
