“TPC is not a rival organisation to the Tamil National Alliance” -Suresh Premachandran

The Tamil Peoples Council, a forum of political and non-political actors, has been formed in Jaffna with Northern Provinces Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran as the head. The main committee in the TPC includes frontline TNA member Suresh Premachandran and Tamil National People's Front leader Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam.
