On the last day of 2017, Tamil actor Rajini (67) announced that he is entering politics for certain. Will he, really? How is this promise different to other promises he has made in the past two decades? Although Rajini is supposedly the highest paid actor in Asia (next only to Jackie Chan), Rajini is a controversial figure in Tamil Nadu, a South Indian state where almost all Chief Ministers (Premiers) have been former actors since 1967.
