The United States now has more confirmed cases of Coronavirus than any other country now.


At least 82,400 people have tested positive so far.

Figures released by John Hopkins University reveal more than half a million have been infected globally and at least  22,000 have died.

As the virus continues its spread, intensive care wards are struggling to cope.  Kulasegaram Sanchayan reports in Tamil with features written by Greg Dyett and Peggy Giakoumelos.
