United Indian Association(UIA) is an umbrella body formed by multiple language communities of Indian heritage in NSW, Australia to represent the communities. Sydney Tamil Mandram is one of the founding members of UIA. Sydney Tamil Mandram objects to what the Madram calls "Hindi imposition" in this year "MATESHIP FAIR -2019 " advertising flyer. Sydney Tamil Manram says that this is discrimination of Indian regional languages like Tamil by UIA. However, UIA rejected the accusation. Sydney Tamil Mandram decided to boycott the event. Selvi spoke to the President of UIA and the spokesperson of Sydney Tamil Mandram and brought both sides of the arguments along with public opinion.
