“We continue our protest against NEET” – Sydney Tamils

Tamil Nadu school student S Anitha, 17, committed suicide at her home days after Indian Supreme Court turned down Tamil Nadu Governments petition that sought a years exemption from the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) for admissions to medical courses. Protests erupted in Tamil Nadu and the impact has been felt in Sydney too. Some Tamils gathered at Pendlehill, Sydney and registered their protest. Selvi, our Producer filed this report.
