COVID-19 is having and will continue to have an impact on wellbeing of communities around the globe. This situation has brought several changes to our usual way of life including social distancing, self-isolation, the closure of leisure and entertainment venues and the cancellation of sporting events. Feelings of isolation, boredom, frustration and uncertainty stemming from COVID-19 restrictions can negatively mental health and family relationships. At the same time, recent statistics has shown an increase in ‘interactive’ or online gambling during the COVID-19 pandemic.
