The book presents different perspectives and voices on the topic of “home” for these Tamils – what it means to leave, or in fact flee, one’s homeland and what is brought to the new land as part of building a new home. Dr. Niro Kandasamy, one of the contributors and editors of the book talks to Kulasegaram Sanchayan about it and her work.

A book on the Tamil diaspora – in fact it is the first compilation of research on Tamils from the island of Sri Lanka, living in Australia was published recently.
