Will Australia arrange repatriation of the body of Rajeev to Sri Lanka?

A fund-raising has been undertaken to repatriate the remains of Rajeev Rajendran, who took his life on the second of October in Manus Island. Following his self-inflicted injuries, Rajeev Rajendran was admitted in a medical facility in Manus Island. His death took place there. Australian Government maintains that as Mr Rajendran died in Papua New Guinea, repatriation arrangements are a matter for the Papua New Guinea Government.
