Will Western Sydney be sidelined for its No vote?

Majority of those living in Western Sydney suburbs had voted against legalising Same Sex Marriage in the Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey conducted earlier this year. Now that Same Sex marriage is legalised in Australia, do Western Sydneysiders fear that they will be sidelined?
