Radha La Bia is a Tamil speaking drag performer who explores gender and culture identity in his work. Radha La Bia is the stage name of Shahmen Suku, who studied Biomedical Science at University of Queensland and works at Artspace Sydney, an interdisciplinary space for the creation and presentation of contemporary art. Shahmen Suku talks to Kulasegaram Sanchayan about his identity - being a Drag Queen performer and belonging to the Tamil community.
