On the Day of the Defender of Ukraine and the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, President Petro Poroshenko underscored the struggle of the UIA warriors against two powerful totalitarian regimes, each of which sought to enslave or exterminate Ukrainians. Also President Petro Poroshenko presented high state awards to the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, warriors of the State Border Service, officials of the State Emergency Service, police officers of the National Police of Ukraine, warriors of the National Guard of Ukraine, Security Service of Ukraine and ATO veterans.
