US President Donald Trump has reportedly confirmed his administration would honour the 2016 refugee resettlement arrangement. The deal had been struck between Australia and the U-S under former president Barack Obama. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull spent close to half an hour on the phone with Mr Trump. Both leaders committed to developing stronger ties, defeating Islamic State and tackling irregular and illegal migration. Foreign Minister Julie Bishop says Mr Turnbull is pleased with the outcome of the talks and is expected to attend - a yet to be scheduled - 'in person' meeting with the president. Meanwhile, Trade Minister Steven Ciobo says he's confident Australia received a "very good ear" from the Trump administration, including on the refugee deal...
