President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė emphasize the need to introduce new tough sanctions against Russia as the aggressor country. The primary issue of talks between President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė is a joint, coordinated repel of Russia's aggression regarding the illegal annexation of Crimea, aggression in the east Ukraine and the recent act of aggression in the neutral waters of the Black Sea and the Kerch Strait. The Head of the Lithuanian Republic was awarded "for extraordinary personal merits in strengthening Ukrainian-Lithuanian intergovernmental relations and protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine".
