Pakistan cricket legend Younis Khan has rated the recently played test match against Australia in Sydney as one of the brightest moments of his career.
Talking to SBS Urdu correspondent Zeeshan Ahmed, Khan recalled the record-setting moment of the Sydney test when he became the only player to score a century in 11 countries.
“I had prayed to score a century in Australia,” said Khan who had already played five test matches in the country without taking his score into three figures.
I remember every single detail of my stay in Australia (while playing for South Australia). I learned a lot there. I learned what positive cricket means and what it means to be fit
Khan admired the Australian cricketing structure that he experienced first-hand while playing in the domestic circuit representing South Australia back in 2008-2009.

“I remember every single detail of my stay in Australia (while playing for South Australia). I learned a lot there. I learned what positive cricket means and what it means to be fit.”
If Sarfraz continues to show aggression and motivate the player, Pakistan can reach the final stages of the Champions Trophy

Khan also shared his views on ICC Champions Trophy and appreciated the aggression of Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed.
Pakistan will kick off their campaign with a match against arch-rivals India and Khan is of the view that his team got what it takes to beat the neighbours.
“If Sarfraz continues to show aggression and motivate the player, Pakistan can reach the final stages of the Champions Trophy.”
