Google Demo Day Asia invited participants from the Asia-Pacific to showcase their work and business model.
Out of 305 applicants, ten were finalised to have their voices heard.
‘Marham’ the Pakistani startup won the ‘Audience Choice Award’ for their platform.
Marham - meaning medicine or ointment in the Urdu language - is a healthcare online platform that helps people to search, book appointments, and consult with doctors and medical professionals online.
Marham was established three years ago to assist patients find medical experts and doctors online.
The service currently works in major cities of Pakistan including Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi.
