Pakistan revealed the latest kit for the team representing the country at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 through a video on YouTube which has raked in more than 1 million views in the last 24 hours.
The players also shared their views on how they felt after receiving the team kit and what hopes they have from the tournament.
Captian, Sarfraz Ahmed said that “The World cup is an event where heroes are made. We will try our best to perform and make our country proud.”
Batsman Shoaib Malik said “Whenever you wear the team uniform you feel very proud. It’s hard to explain it in words, but I am feeling very proud and I want to [perform] well for the country.”
Mohammad Hafeez said “Obviously it is a proud feeling. I want to win the world cup during my career and I pray we can all achieve that.”

Hasan Ali representing Pakistan in the World Cup for the first time said “I feel very proud wearing Pakistan’s shirt. I am going to play the world cup for the first time and wish that I perform in such a way that we win the world cup for my country.”
Other players also had similar messages stating that they were feeling proud of wearing the country’s colours and were very excited to participate and win the World Cup.
A nation of 210 million people will be cheering the team as Pakistan plays it’s first match against the West Indies on 31st of this month.
They have arrived in England and are getting ready for their first warm-up match tomorrow against Afghanistan.
After the recent loss in Pakistan V England series, Men in green will be under a lot of pressure to win the World Cup after 27 years.
