SBS Audio and Language Content team is seeking an experienced digital journalist for our Urdu language team as a part-time Digital Content Producer. High proficiency in both English and Urdu is essential, along with demonstrable success in sourcing and producing original stories of interest to the Australian Pakistani community. Reporting to the SBS Urdu Executive Producer and working with the Digital Editor and other producers in the team, the role is to develop and deliver multimedia content for Urdu program online and on social platforms, explore audio/video production for digital platforms, coordinate and oversee the digital content production of the team.
We have advertised to hire a media professional with a proven and extensive online experience in a part-time role to join our Urdu language team, either based in Sydney or Melbourne
- Prior media experience in print or electronic media (with journalistic aptitude) is essential
- Must be a team player and good at time management, people skills
- Should have advanced digital skills using a CMS and production tools: Photoshop, Video production, and editing software and audio editing software preferred, as well as advanced knowledge of SEO
