Euthanasia - The Right to Choose

Victoria has moved closer to become the first state in Australia to legalise voluntary euthanasia. The Assisted Dying Bill will be now discussed in the Upper House and if it gets through, terminally ill people over the age of 18, in severe pain and with only a year to live would be able to access lethal drugs. Dr Mohammad Bilal, a prominent medical practitioner from Sydney, explained in details the concept, legal aspects, and moral and ethical challenges related to the legalisation of Euthanasia.
