The euthanasa was passed in the Senate of Victoria and will return to the House of Commons before becoming a statutory law in this state.


In NSW, a similar bill was defeated in the House of Commons with only one vote, showing that the level of support and opposition to the law was nearly the same.

Dr. Lieu Vinh Binh, President of the Vietnam PhysicianAssociation in Australia, commented on the law of euthanasia in Victoria.
