Abe's coalition re-elected to 'super majority' in Japan

Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe has secured a strong mandate in a snap election and has immediately promised to deal firmly with threats from North Korea.


Mr Abe's nationalist coalition won more than two-thirds of the parliamentary seats to reach an important so-called "super majority."
