Đao Quang Thuc's Trial

On 19 Sep 2018, the Local Court in Hoa Binh Province has sentences the retired primary school teacher Dao Quang Thuc to 14 years in jail and 5 year house arrest after finding him guilty on charges of attempting to overthrow the communist government. Dao Quang Thuc, 58, was convicted of posting on his Facebook page articles with "reactionary contents," the official Vietnam News Agency reported.
