In a major blow to the Turnbull government - and coming just days after the loss of deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce and cabinet minister Fiona Nash due to dual citizenship - Senator Stephen Parry said he would quit as president and as a Tasmanian senator immediately and clear the way for a replacement to be named.
