Australian girlfriend of gunman tells US investigators she knew nothing

The Australian girlfriend of the alleged gunman responsible for the biggest mass shooting in modern United States history says she was not involved in any way.

US authorities are questioning her in the hope she can provide clues to his motives and state of mind.

It comes as President Donald Trump has visited the scene of the shooting in Las Vegas.

The Australian girlfriend of Stephen Paddock, allegedly responsible for shooting dead 59 people and injuring more than 500 others, says she had no idea he planned to do it.
