Funding and support is often hard to come by for athletes who are deaf or hearing-impaired.


But for the first time, Australia's national deaf cricket team will head to next month's deaf T-20 world cup with the full backing of Cricket Australia. 

There are hopes it might one day help a deaf player break through into first-class cricket.
