Balkans region says EU 'isn't interested' in them

The Croatian president has called out the European Union for its lack of interest in the Balkan region at a summit of the Balkan countries in Albania.

Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic warned the disinterest was creating a vacuum  which doesn't benefit the region's stability or security.

This comes as the leaders of the EU met on Thursday and declared a future as one united bloc where common action will determine its success.
