BANKS ROYCOM: Life insurer admits to hundreds of thousands of breaches

Insurance entities are this week facing scrutiny in the sixth round of the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry. Independent life insurer ClearView Wealth took the stand first, as the company again faces questioning over its business dealings. Earlier this year, the royal commission heard that ClearView's telephone sales staff had led numerous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people into purchasing products they didn’t want.
