The announcement by American actress, Angelina Jolie, that she's had a double mastectomy because she has the 'breast cancer' gene has raised questions about the gene-testing procedures available to women in Australia.


The varying eligibility requirements to undergo the test across the country have meant some women are choosing to forgo the procedure.
