The local Rohingya community has called on Australia and the United Nations to do more to end the violence in Rakhine State.


Hundreds have protested in Melbourne over the treatment of Muslim minorities in Myanmar, saying three thousand Rohingyas have been killed over the past year.

The Federal Government has responded with five million dollars in humanitarian assistance.
