The two largest centrist power blocs in the European Parliament have lost their combined majority after the Eurepean Union elections.

The two largest centrist power blocs in the European Parliament have lost their combined majority after the Eurepean Union elections.


The European People's Party [[EPP]] to the right and the Socialists and Democrats to the left will no longer hold a majority in the new 751 seat chamber. 

Their losses translated into gains for Liberals, Greens and Nationalists with the highest voter turnout in 20 years.
