Located on the 1A National Way which is the route to connect Saigon and the Mekong Delta, toll on BOT Cai Lay forcing all the traffic pay fee to pass has created sentiment, grievances, and objection to many. Drivers who travel on that route use currentcy with small denominations in some days and big notes in the other days to object the toll while public pours anger to the government and call for the toll to be remove. There has been arest and bloodshed due to conflict between the drivers and those who worked for and/or were summoned by the owner of the Toll to tackle who not complying to pay the toll.
