Doctors are calling for other Australian states and territories to follow the lead of New South Wales and Western Australia, making flu vaccinations free for young children.


Australia's worst-ever flu epidemic last year resulted in the deaths of two pre-schoolers, prompting the New South Wales government to spend almost 4 million dollars to boost immunisation rates.
