A magnitude-7 earthquake has hit the Indonesian island of Lombok, barely a week after another tremor shook the area, leaving more than 80 people dead and dozens injured.

Officials say the damage appears to be centred on Lombok's main city of Mataram with residents and tourists running out of buildings and into the streets.
