A Dutch-Vietnamese investor is reportedly suing Vietnam for $1,25 billion USD before the International Arbitration Center in Paris, alleging the country caused him to lose out on his investments in Vietnam.


Trinh Vinh Binh was charged by the Ba-Ria Vung Tau Peoples Court in southern Vietnam for bribery and violating land administration rules when he was investing in projects in Ho Chi Minh City and Ba-Ria Vung Tau and Dong Nai provinces between 1990 and 1996.
