On 15 of May, the delegation of European diplomats including Germany, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, England, Italy and United States has held a meeting with three Vietnamese prominent activists - former prisoner of conscience and Lawyer Le Cong Dinh, Pham Chi Dung - President of Vietnam Independent Journalists Association, and Pham Ba Hai, Chairman of the Association of Former Prisoners Human rights conscience in Vietnam. The meeting took place on the eve of the US-Vietnam Human Rights Dialogue in Washington and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement is on the final of assessment.


The issue is what would the human rights violations in Vietnam affect on the diplomatic activities between the Vietnam government and the other countries?
