FBI disputes Trump wire-tapping claim, confirms Russian probe

Despite damning testimony from top United States intelligence officials, the White House is refusing to retreat from President Donald Trump's wire-tapping claims against his predecessor.

FBI director James Comey has flatly rejected the allegations before a Congressional committee.

And he has also confirmed the FBI is investigating Russian government interference in last year's presidential campaign.
