Government offers funds to boost low rates of Indigenous Australian kidney recipients

The federal government has announced it will provide $2.3 million towards increasing the number of Indigenous Australians receiving donor kidneys.


At the moment, Indigenous Australians receive kidney and organ transplants at a quarter ((25%)) of the rate of non-Indigenous people.
