Immigration and population policies will be a key issue at this year's federal election now that the Australian Government has slashed the number of permanent visas it grants every year.
The government has also announced two new 'geographically restricted' skilled visas for regional areas of the country.
In the lead-up to the election, SBS News spoke to voters in the marginal seat of Banks to find out what they think about the issue of immigration.
