India seeks help in fighting tobacco lobby

Sri Lanka's president is calling on governments across the world to think of the health of their citizens and resist the tobacco lobby.


He has made the plea in India, where delegates from 180 countries have spent a week attending a conference on a global anti-tobacco treaty.

SBS travelled to the town of Hunsur,in the southern Indian state of Karnataka, to see how tobacco farmers feel about moves to curb their industry.
