A year-long program designed to improve cultural respect in health care and outcomes for Indigenous people has not increased the rate of Indigenous health checks nor improved cross-cultural relationships, according to new research into the Ways of Thinking, Ways of Doing project.


The program was designed to help translate cultural competency frameworks into routine clinical practice.
