A New York City policeman has become the latest example of a law enforcement officer to face no criminal liability for killing an unarmed black man .

A New York City policeman has become the latest example of a law enforcement officer to face no criminal liability for killing an unarmed black man .


Forty-three-year-old New Yorker Eric Garner died on the 17th July 2014 after Daniel Pantaleo a white police officer, used a choke-hold during an attempted arrest. 

Mr Garner was suspected of selling loose, untaxed cigarettes on a sidewalk.
