International court sentences former Congolese militia leader

The International Criminal Court in The Netherlands has sentenced the former vice-president of the Democratic Republic of Congo to 18 years in prison for war crimes.Jean-Pierre Bemba was also found guilty of crimes against humanity committed by troops under his command in the Central African Republic over a decade ago.
