The 15 core members of the coalition fighting the self-proclaimed Islamic State, or IS, have praised recent progress against the group in Iraq and Syria at a summit in London.
It comes as the Iraqi army says it is edging closer to retaking control of the city of Mosul.
But memories of the death and destruction IS has wielded continue to haunt that city's people.
