Former United States Olympic gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar has been sentenced to up to 175 years in prison for sexually abusing athletes and patients. Handing down the sentence, Michigan state judge Rosemarie Aquilina told him she was, in effect, signing his death warrant. More than 100 women and girls testified against the former doctor in a marathon seven-day sentencing hearing.
